Stakeholder Management Action Plan

Have you ever wondered why you have to interact with certain people at work?

 – What are their motives?
 – Should you trust them?
 – What do they expect from you?
 – Why is every interaction so awkward?

Who ARE these people?

Sometimes it is difficult to tell how the people you work with communicate. It is even difficult to understand why certain people are relevant to your job.

I had these questions too, and early in my career I had no idea that I misinterpreted a lot of the communication that was going on around me. Luckily, I was placed on a project working with a strong project manager who taught me about stakeholder management.

Not only did the process change my perspective about how I should work with people on the project, but I applied the process across my life.

It was a real game-changer for me.

After I started actively managing these relationships, people started to view me differently. Feedback was more positive. I understood more of the communication around me, and I was included.

It felt great to have that part of the puzzle figured out.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

WORKBOOK | TEMPLATE | SUPPORT

The Stakeholder Management Action Plan workbook will walk you through the process of identifying and mapping your stakeholders, strategies for engaging with them, and creating an action plan to effectively manage and maintain the relationship to achieve desired outcomes.

The template (XLS file) will provide a means for tracking your stakeholders, their stakeholder type, your chosen communication strategy, and more. You can use this as an active part of your process or as a reference.

A support space has been set up within The Strategy Exchange community to ask questions, review FAQs, and receive assistance from the Strategic Stacey team to make sure you get the most out of your experience with this digital product.

Increase your visibility, credibility, and positive career trajectory. This process is simple and effective and works across all career levels.

YOU WILL BE GREAT AT THIS TOO!

Learning this approach will take you a couple of hours.

The time to apply the process to groups of people you know is up to you. I prioritized the groups of people around me initially to break up the time commitment and give myself time to acclimate to the methodology.

Once you understand how to categorize the various people you engage with, you will establish your communication strategy and approach for working with each person easily.

Adjusting your approach will lead to immediate results with some people and gradual results with others, but you will feel more confident immediately because you have a plan and you are moving forward with intention.

Participate in the pre-sale, and you’ll also receive two other digital downloads that are not yet available – an $85 value for only $27! This is a limited time offer.

OUR MISSION

Empower and support a talented, capable community to define and manifest their future success

Hi, I’m Stacey Vail, and I’ve been consulting with companies and clients on their improvements and transformations for more than 30 years. I believe that work structures today are making jobs and careers more difficult to maneuver.

I started Strategic Stacey because you deserve support and resources to help you thrive — whatever that means for you.

We should have a little fun along the way too!

I’m opening my toolkit and best practices to share with all of you. The tools will help you expand your skillset and capabilities. Or, if you have a specific challenge to solve, we can address it.  Whether you choose to participate alone or actively with our community, resources are coming! We’re happy that you’re here.

What Else is on the Roadmap?

These items are already in the works, with limited availability to specific audiences. We wanted to share so you can see what’s in the pipeline, and we’ll refresh this space often so you can see what will soon be available.

STRATEGY BRAINSTORMING SESSION 1:1 (30 min.)

Schedule a one-to-one virtual strategy brainstorming session with one of our team members to work through your strategic plan, strategy on a specific topic or issue you’re working on, or another topic of your choosing.

This service officially launches in May, but there are a limited number of sessions available in April. 30 minutes each.

“WE/THEY APPROACH”

The “we / they” approach is an approach Strategic Stacey has used throughout her career that helps maintain objectivity and empathy when examining a business challenge.

The approach is particularly helpful in gaining a true understanding of current state, which often establishes trust needed to persuade stakeholders to agree to changes that are needed.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE SELF-ASSESSMENT

We all experience times when we are burned out, tired, and in need of down time.

But how can we proactively take inventory of how we’re doing and have a strategy in place to stay ahead of things so that we can take a break before we hit a point of burnout? This tool will help you do just that.
